Recognition of Excllence Scheme call open

From 22 April, the Health Innovation Partnership (HIP) will be seeking department applications for the award of ‘University Department’ status.

We will award recognition to departments that are able to demonstrate excellence in clinical and/or operational, research and/or innovation and education/staff development activities through a multi-disciplinary approach.

Upon successful receipt of status, the department will be:

• presented with a plaque and the title of ‘University Department’ which can be used in all correspondence, alongside the Universities logo
• able to access an award of £5,000 to support further initiatives to strengthen hospital/university collaboration
• allocated half-funding for a three year PhD studentship (which can be match-funded).

DEADLINE: Please submit your completed portfolios of evidence to HIP@reading.ac.uk no later than 5pm, 31 July 2024.

Evidence portfolios can be submitted up to 5pm on the 2nd August.
